LANCASTER - Margarete A. Clapp, 74, of Summer Street, passed away to be with her savior Jesus Christ on April 29, 2014 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Clapp was born in Hanau/Main, Germany on November 11, 1939 the daughter of Willi and Katharine (Koch) Stein.
Margarete was predeceased by her parents and husband Alvin Russell Clapp who died in September of 2011. She is survived by a son Steven Clapp of Virginia; two daughters Heike Dani and Christa Clapp both of Germany.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster on Tuesday May 20th at 1:00 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Summer Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
