Miss Garrion was born in Littleton on April 17, 1951, the daughter of Rodney and Frances Garrion.
Marie was a graduate of Littleton High School and for a time she worked as a stitcher at Connor Footware. She was a lifelong resident of Littleton until moving to Whitefield a year ago.
