DALTON - Marie Kazmirchuk, 86, of Dalton Road, died suddenly Saturday morning July 15, 2006, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Kazmirchuk was born in Dalton on April 24, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gaudette) Pilotte.
Marie was a lifetime resident of Dalton. During her life she was employed for a time at Sanders Sawmill, Whitefield, and Sweets Brush and Handle, Littleton.
She was a member of the Grange, the VFW Auxiliary, and the Dalton Historical Society.
Family members include two daughters, Elaine Duranty of Portsmouth, RI, Brenda Kazmirchuk of Manchester, NH; a sister Philomen Pilotte of Dalton; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Kazmirchuk in 1999.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening July 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Virginia Alvarez, pastor of the Dalton Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cushman Cemetery, Dalton.
