Marie Margaret Kenneally

LANCASTER, NH - Marie Margaret Kenneally, 78, of Ice Pond Village, died Thursday morning March 3, 2016 at the Coos County Nursing Home, Berlin, NH.
Ms. Kenneally was born in Sanford Maine on December 30, 1937 the daughter of Thomas Walter and Evon Marie (Cote) Kenneally.
Margaret was raised in Milton, Massachusetts where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Boston University and the Catherine Gibbs School. She was the former assistant administrator of the Physics Department at MIT and later United Brands. In the Boston area she was a well known dog obedience trainer. After retirement she resided for a time in Woodsville, NH before moving to Lancaster. She was a talented pianist and will be remembered for her performances at the Woodsville and Littleton Senior Centers.
Of strong Catholic faith Margaret was a daily Communicant and a 42 year member of Opus Dei. She was a longtime Communicant of St. Josephs Church in Woodsville and later All Saints Church in Lancaster.
Family members include her brother Thomas Kenneally and cousins Ida Dunning and Eddie Morel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 28
th
at 11:00 AM at All Saints Church in Lancaster. Reverend Matthew Mason, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster. A celebration of her life will follow with a pot luck gathering at the community room at Ice Pond Village.
