GROVETON- Marilyn "Yo" Charlette, 47, of Maple Street, died Friday morning May 12, 2006, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.
Mrs. Charlette was born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont on August 2, 1958, the daughter of Herbert and Marion (Boutwell) Berry.
Marilyn lived in Newport, NH for 20 years before moving to Groveton in 1998.
Yo worked as a crossing guard in Newport for 6 years and for a time raised dogs. She was a good Mom, enjoyed camping, campfires, gardening, and daily visits with friends at the Double SS Restaurant.
Family members include her husband Don Charlette of Groveton; two daughters, Stephanie Linn of Berlin and Chastity Haycock and her husband Tim of Groveton; three grandchildren, Kyle, Zachary, and Dakota; her father Herbert of East Concord, VT; two sisters, Elogene Rodger of Concord, VT and Arizona, Christine Moore of Dalton; a brother Edward Berry of East Concord, VT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother in 2004.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM at the East Concord Methodist Church. Reverend Henry E. Cheney, will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in the Overlook Cemetery, East Concord.
Donations may be made in her memory to the East Concord Methodist Church.
