LUNENBURG - Marilyn Cora Colby Pond, 68, of West Main Street, died Thursday afternoon March 16, 2006, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Pond was born in Lunenburg on June 13, 1937, the daughter of Clifford Clark and Eleanor Cora (Morse) Colby.
Marilyn worked at home for Henschel Shoe Company of Littleton, for several years. She also worked for the Lancaster Bowling Alley, Stinehour Press, Lunenburg, Manchester Knitted Fashions, Whitefield, and for the Lancaster Home Health Agency.
She loved cats, flower gardening, and needlepoint.
Family members include her husband of 43 years, Clive A. Pond of Lunenburg; a daughter Eleanor M. (Parks) Frechette of Lunenburg; two sons, Brian D. Parks of Dalton, Gary R. Pond of Haverhill, MA; grandchildren, Adam Frechette of West Springfield, MA, Sarah Frechette of Hartford, VT, Katrina Parks and Nathan Parks both of Dalton; and a sister Marcia E. Pond of Lunenburg. She was predeceased by a sister Karlene Silsby and a brother Dana Luke Colby.
Services will be at the discretion of the family.
