LANCASTER- Martina C. Wentworth, 92, died Saturday morning, March 20, 2010, at Country Village Genesis Elder Care.
Mrs. Wentworth was born in Louisville, Mississippi on March 26, 1917, a daughter of Leonard and Augusta (Cunningham) Catledge.
Martina was raised in Louisville and graduated from the University of Mississippi where she earned an associates degree in teaching. For many years she resided in Rutland, MA and taught at the Rutland Elementary School for 32 years. She moved to Littleton, NH, where she lived for 6 years and has been a resident of Country Village since 2001.
Family members include her daughter, Cynthia Wentworth of Piermont, NH, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her husband John W. Wentworth predeceased her.
