LANCASTER - Maryann S. Flynn, 44, of Elm Street, died Tuesday afternoon, August 28, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a recent illness.
Maryann was born in Lancaster, NH, on December 22, 1967, the daughter of Roland and Joan (Weiss) Frechette.
Raised in Groveton she was a graduate of Groveton High School and went on to attend the New Hampshire Community Technical College in Berlin earning a degree in accounting. Maryann has been a long time resident of the Groveton and Lancaster area and has been employed at George M. Stevens in Lancaster, Emerson's in Groveton and Weeks Medical Center.
Family members include her husband David D. Flynn of Lancaster; her daughter Priscilla E. Flynn of Lancaster; her parents of Groveton; a sister Gail Yearke and her husband Russell of Enfield, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, David Frechette, predeceased her in 1986.
Visiting hours will be held Friday evening, August 31, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Reverend Daniel Deveau, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Northumberland Cemetery.
