LANCASTER - Michael Aldrich, 61, of Water Street, died Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster, after a long illness.
Mike was born in Lancaster on November 9, 1955, the son of Glenn Aldrich and Gail (Merrow) Page. He was raised in Jefferson and resided most of his life there and in Lancaster. He was a graduate of White Mountain Regional High School.
For 10 years Mike was employed at Campbell Envelope in N. Stratford and later, for a time, at the Mill in Groveton. Most of his life he has worked as an equipment operator, truck driver and woodsman. He was employed for a time with Gorham Sand & Gravel and Columbia Sand & Gravel. He also worked for Tilcon and Central Paving. In his free time he enjoyed many outdoor activities, particularly hunting and fishing.
Surviving family members include two children, Jason M. Aldrich and his wife Julie of Lancaster, Kimberly Aldrich and fiancée Jesse Baker of Wayland, Missouri; his mother Gail of Claremont, NH; a brother Stephen Page and his wife Mary of Claremont; two sisters Diana Capone and her husband Rick of Everett, MA, Jean Aldrich of Arizona; two grandchildren, Khloe Aldrich and Alexis Aiken; and close aunts and uncles Dick Merrow, John & Sherry Merrow and Carly Merrow. He was predeceased by his father Glenn; his grandparents Howard & Elsie Merrow; his step-father Ralph Page and his aunt Janice Merrow Rogers.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
