LANCASTER- Michael David Powell, 39, passed away peacefully, at his home on May 17, 2011
Mr. Powell was born in Lancaster on August 25, 1971.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Lancaster graduating from White Mountain Regional High School in 1990. He worked many jobs including the Gilman Paper Co., Martins Farm and Asplundh. For the past few years he has been a proud stay at home Dad, which he took great pride in. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending his time with them.
Family members include his father; Lawrence C. Powell of Lancaster, his companion of 17 years Cari Hodgdon of Lancaster, two children Adam Michael Powell and Hannah Marie Powell; three sisters Laurie Isenburg of Tyrone, PA, Tina Desrochers of Lancaster and Tammy Gawronski of Hanscom AFB, MA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by, a brother Lawrence C. Powell Jr.
A graveside service will be held Saturday morning May 21, at 11:00 AM in the Summer Street Cemetery. Rev. Todd Goulet of Northumberland will officiate.
Donations maybe made in his memory to the Michael Powell Memorial Fund, Passumpsic Bank, 117 Main St., Lancaster, NH 03584, to assist with the care and expenses of his family.
