BERLIN - Michael J. Morris Sr., 66, formerly of Orleans, VT, died Monday morning, December 28, 2020 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, after a recent illness. His family was at his side.
Mr. Morris was born in Littleton, NH on February 16, 1954 the son of Robert and Evelyn (Lucas) Morris. He was raised in Littleton and was a graduate of Littleton High School.
For most of his life Michael has worked as delivery truck driver. He has been employed with Humpty Dumpty, Schwans, and Koffee Kup Bakeries. He enjoyed his grandchildren tremendously who he loved to spoil.
Surviving family members include his children, Rachel Morris of Derby, CT, Jay-Anne M. Leighton of Groveton, Paul Hodge of Orleans, Michael Morris Jr. of Merrimack, NH, Charlene Morris of Derby, CT, Brandon Morris of Sunnyvale, FL; three brothers, John Morris and Raymond Morris of Littleton, Robert Morris of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. He was predeceased by his wife Selma "Sally" (Hodge) Morris in 2017.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster. A Celebration of Life will follow at the home of Cathy Bishop, 79 Lost Nation Road, Lancaster, NH.
