Michael C. Streeter

WHITEFIELD - Michael C. Streeter of Highland Street, died March 26, 2008 in Whitefield at the age of 54.
Mr. Streeter was born in Concord, Vermont on February 1, 1954, the son of Willard D. and Pauline E. (Belmore) Streeter.
Mike was raised in Dalton where he was a longtime time resident there and in Whitefield. He traveled and worked about the US and touched many lives from Nenana, Alaska to Naples and Key Largo, Florida. For a time he was employed as sous chef at the Mt. Washington Hotel. Mike had many friends and will be remembered as a loving uncle.
He was a member of the Littleton Elks #1831 and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Family members include two brothers, Dana Streeter of Ossipee, Dennis Streeter of Whitefield; a sister Patricia Hewitt of Manchester; a nephew Christopher; two nieces Stephanie and Statia; and two grand nieces Quynne and Phoebe. His parents predeceased him.
At Mike's request there are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 3rd at 1:00pm in Cushman Cemetery, Dalton. Gathering at the Elks Lodge, Littleton, will follow.
