LANCASTER, NH - Michelle Dawn Palmer, 53, of Hartco Avenue, died at Weeks Medical Center, Sunday morning, January 16, 2022, after a recent illness.
Michelle was born an Army brat in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, on November 19, 1968, the daughter of George and Rhonda Fraser Buck. When she was a child, her family returned stateside and she grew up in Bradford, Rhode Island. She met and married her husband Roy Palmer in Rhode Island and 32 years ago they moved North to Vermont.
For 20 years they resided in Lowell, VT, where Michelle worked as a paraprofessional at the Lowell School and Jay Westfield School. She also cleaned cabins at Lake Willoughby. Michelle enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved her church and church family at the Crossroads Community Church, Lancaster, where Roy serves as pastor and Michelle was secretary. She also enjoyed being with her family, and especially her grandchildren. Sitting around the fire pit and just enjoy the blessings in her life.
Surviving family members include her loving husband of 32 years, Roy E. Palmer of Lancaster; four children, Joshua Buck of South Dakota, Jude Buck of Willimantic, CT, Jake Buck of St. Johnsbury, Michaela Palmer of Lunenburg, VT; her Mother Rhonda Montalvo of Coventry, VT; seven grandchildren, Kaliegh, Aleah, Chase, Jasmine, Journey, Wyatt, J-Lynn; three sisters, Rhandi, Rebeka, Martha; and nieces and nephews. Her father and a brother, Micky Buck, predeceased her.
A private celebration of life will be held at the family's convenience.
