PENNSYLVANIA: Michelle Joyce Willey Barrows, 50, died suddenly after a long battle with kidney disease on July 20, 2020.
Michelle was born August 6, 1969 in Lancaster, NH, the daughter of Edward C. "Mike" Willey, Jr, and Joyce Austin Willey, Lancaster, NH. She attended Lancaster Elementary School and graduated from White Mountains Regional High School in 1987.
After high school, she graduated from truck driving school and was an over-the-road truck driver, travelling from the East Coast to the West Coast and then locally for several years.
She moved to Southern VT and became an active member of a local fire department, where she met her husband. She worked as a truck dispatcher for various trucking companies. In 2015, she and her husband and her granddaughter moved to Hanover, Pennsylvania. After moving to Pennsylvania, Michelle owned and operated her own truck dispatching company, Logistics.
Michelle enjoyed amateur gourmet cooking for her family, attending tractor pulls with her husband, attending her granddaughter's various school and extracurricular functions, and spending time in her garden.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Thomas Barrows, Hanover, Pennsylvania, her son Damien Gillespie and fiancé Bella, Hanover, Pennsylvania, her mother Joyce Willey, Lancaster, NH, her father Edward "Mike" Willey, Hanover, Pennsylvania, six grandchildren: Alex, Andi, Bishop, Arlen, Sterling and Cleo, her brother, Kevin Willey and wife Sandy of Lancaster, NH, two sisters: Kris Willey, Lebanon, NH, and Andrea Willey and wife, Karen of Littleton, NH, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Michelle was predeceased by her brother, Joel Willey and her daughter, Rheba "Aine" Reynolds.
Private services are being held for the family.
