Nancy L. Corriveau of Kissimmee FL, died peacefully at home with her family at her side on Tuesday May 29 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was born in West Stewartstown, NH and grew up with her brother and sisters in North Stratford NH. She was the daughter of Arlene Short Pearson and Pershing Sweatt.
She graduated from North Stratford High School, and after marrying her husband, Claude J. Corriveau, in 1964, moved to Colebrook and then to Columbia. For many years Nancy worked as a maid at the Balsams Resort. In 2001 she then moved to Kissimmee, FL, and was hired on by Disney World.
Family members she will be survived by her husband of 43 years Claude; her daughter Suzanne Inkell and husband Brian of Columbia, NH; her son Kevin Corriveau of Atlanta, GA; her two grandchildren Taylor Inkell and Nicole Corriveau; and her two sisters Shirley Lepine and Virginia Turner of Florida. She is predeceased by her brother Dale Sweatt.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday June 16, at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Colebrook. Reverend Krisann Byrne-Scheri and Rev. Randall Scheri will officiate. A committal service will follow in the Colebrook Village Cemetery.
