Norma C. Patria

March 20, 1934 — January 22, 2011

BEDFORD, NH- Norma Carolyn Amadon Patria, 76, formerly of Lunenburg, VT passed away on Saturday, January 22, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a long illness.

She was born on March 20,1934 in Lunenburg, Vermont, the daughter of R. Carman Amadon and Nina Pond Amadon who both predeceased her.

Norma attended Barre City schools in Barre, Vermont, except for two years during World War II when she went to school in Portland, Maine. She played violin in the Spaulding High School Band and the Barre City Orchestra. She was a dedicated church goer and was also a member of a 12 Step Program for over 45 years

She is survived by, three sons, Lloyd Edward Lemieux, Jr., Neil Andrew Lemieux and Timothy Jon Lemieux. She also leaves behind her brother, Richard C. Amadon Jr., of Poultney, Vermont, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sister, Linda Amandon Alexander, of St. Johnsburg, Vermont, preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Lunenburg, Vermont on Saturday, May 21

at 1:00 p.m. Were she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, David Patria, and other family members.
