JEFFERSON - Normand Bilodeau, 80, of Horan Road, died Monday, August 18, 2019 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster, after a long illness.
Mr. Bilodeau was born in Berlin on June 9, 1939, the son of Edmond and Marie Anne (Boucher) Bilodeau. At the age of 2 his family moved to Jefferson where Normand made his lifelong residency. For his entire career Normand was a railroad worker. He was first employed with Maine Central Railroad and later D & H Railroad. Initially he was a track man and later a machine operator. In his spare time he loved fishing (particularly ice fishing) hunting and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife Ruthanne Bilodeau of Jefferson. He was predeceased by a son Mark Bilodeau and five siblings, Francis, Leonard Ronald Sr., Theresa Boutin and Rose Ann Siqouin.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 AM in the Assembly of God Church, Lancaster. Reverend Seth Frink, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
