Onorato Brandi, Jr.

Ono Brandi, Jr., 52 of Bethlehem, NH departed this life on November 19 after a long struggle with alcohol addiction. Born in Bristol, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Ono and Barbara (Grasser) Brandi and is survived by his sister Brenda (Jeff) Dupont of Whitefield, NH and brother Chuck (Robin) Brandi of Whitefield, NH and San Diego, CA. He attended local schools in Bristol graduating from Kents Hill School in 1988. Shortly afterwards, Ono followed his dream as a founding member of The Village where he spent his happiest years touring through the eastern United States with his brother-like bandmates. It was this early experience which launched Ono’s life-long love of music. Later in his life, Ono found success in several pursuits within the insurance industry and as a small business owner. Despite experiencing a level of professional success, having a supportive wife and family, and building a large and loving circle of friends, Ono became increasing lost in a long and devastating battle with alcohol addiction. Over time, the light of this generous, loving and kind-hearted spirit was taken by this senseless and relentless illness. Our family asks you to remember that no one is immune from the epidemic of addiction and join us in remembering our beloved brother for the joy love and friendship he shared so openly throughout his life. Final arrangements will be private with a ceremony of remembrance planned at a later date.
