Patricia is resting peacefully in the Heavenly Father's care now. Her precious heart was broken beyond repair. She was 79 years old.
She knew she was loved and cared for. When her dear friends would stop by, she knew they loved her too and appreciated each one of them dearly.
Patricia loved her home and always said there was no place else she would rather be. She was often seen sitting in her window, waving at everyone she knew, or on the front porch, often with a friend, as she greeted people as they walked by. She also loved summers at Lake Seymour since she was in her teens.
She retired from hairdressing in 2006 after several decades of having her own salon. She loved having the freedom to spend what they called "R.B.A's" with her beloved late husband Brian. Those relationship building activities brought her so much happiness. She found joy in the simple things, like taking rides in the car, going out for a meal, just having fellowship with him, or any of her friends and loved ones. She loved being with him more than anything and her heart truly broke when she had to say "goodbye for now" to him four years ago.
Patricia was always a lady and always kept up with her hair and nails, always completing her smile with lipstick, which she made sure her daughter and granddaughter were continuing to apply even while in the hospital, right up to the end.
She had faith in her Lord and Savior. Long time member of Whitefield Christian Church for 26 years, where she worshipped, served and supported her husband in tasks as he served as a deacon. In the last four years she found a new church home in Lancaster at the Crossroads Community Church where she found friendship and comfort closer to her home so she would not have to travel.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Elaine Barnett, her half brother and sister Robert and Beverly, and her beloved husband of 36 years Brian.
She is survived by her only daughter Karie E. Bennett and her husband Randall J. Bennett of Lancaster, Granddaughter Elaina M. Bennett of Lancaster, Step Grandchildren Amanda Bennett Gilman of Tilton NH, and Daniel J. Bennett of Whitefield.
Her fur babies Sierra and Tigger were her constant companions and will be well taken care of and loved in her memory and honor.
Because of the limited space at Crossroads Church, services will be held at The Church of New Beginnings, 835 Profile Road in Bethlehem NH on Friday, February 20th beginning at 2pm for visiting the family, 3pm we will have a formal service time, which will be followed by sharing a meal for those who would like to stay. Please feel free to drop in at any point between 2 and 6pm.
