DALTON - Patricia Ann Fearon Lennon, 77, of French Road, died suddenly Saturday October 13, 2012 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Patricia was born in Whitefield, NH on March 26, 1935 to Stanley Fearon and Thelma Smith Fearon. She grew up in Dalton and attended schools in Dalton and Whitefield. In 1953 she graduated from Whitefield High School and graduated from Hesser Business College in 1955 with an Associate in Secretarial Sciences. In 1958 she married Frank Lennon of Twin Mountain. Most of their life was spent in Dalton.
Two daughters were born to them Elizabeth Gareau of Dalton and Valerie Balch of Twin Mountain. 6 grandchildren, Edward Gareau of Warwick, RI; Melissa Gareau of Dalton, Dana Balch, US Army, Corey Balch of Lunenburg, Taysia Wood of New Hampton, NH and Trevor Wood of Twin Mountain. Three great-grandchildren, Angelia and Xander Gareau of Warwick, RI and Kileigh Reynolds of New Hampton, NH. She is also survived by 1 Aunt, Betty Stewart of Dalton as well as several cousins.
Most important to Patricia was the time she spent with family, friends, community, and the many organizations she belonged to. For as long as her health allowed she would always volunteer without hesitation. Patricia has been a member of the Dalton Congregational Church, the Riverside Grange, Northern New Hampshire Pomona Grange, State and National Granges for over 55 years. For many years she was the correspondent writer for the Dalton News for both the Democrat and Courier. Her hobbies included reading, assembling puzzles, embroidery, photography and scrapbooking.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Stanley and Thelma Fearon.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening, October 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A funeral service will follow Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Dalton Congregational Church. Rev. Dennis Bowman, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Cushman Cemetery, Dalton.
