LANCASTER- Patricia Riff, 84, of Middle Street, died Sunday night, July 1, 2007 at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Riff was born in Sisson Ridge, NB, Canada on December 7, 1922 a daughter of Wilmot and Catherine (Rollins) Jones.
Patricia and her late husband Richard W. Riff owned and operated Riff's Flowers Shop, in Lancaster from 1948 until their retirement in 1976. After retirement she worked for Peter W. Powell as a real estate agent.
She was a life member of the White Mountain Riding Club. She enjoyed going to the Lancaster Fair, loved to play Bingo, and traveling to Florida every winter since 1976.
She was a Communicant of the All Saints Church, Lancaster.
She is survived by, her daughter Sharon Riff of Lancaster; five sisters, Lorna Jones and Myrna Reinhardt both of South Portland, ME, Dorothy Scott of Woodstock, NB, Canada, Ruth Kavanaugh and Faye Savage both of Lakeville, NB, Canada; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, her husband of 37 years, Richard on May 8, 1983, and three brothers, Doug Jones, Maurice Jones, and Gene Jones.
At Patricia's request there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday afternoon, July 6, at 1:00 PM in the Colebrook Village Cemetery. Reverend Raymond Ball, pastor at All Saints Church, Lancaster will officiate.
