LANCASTER - Paul M. Marro, 67, of Stebbins Hill Road, died Sunday morning June 3, 2007, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon. He fought the good fight after thirty years of dialysis.
Mr. Marro was born in Concord, VT, on December 26, 1939, the son of Pasquale John "Pat" and Leota (Sargent) Marro.
Residing most of his lifetime in Whitefield, Paul was a graduate of Whitefield High School. He served with the US Army and for a time resided in Boston where he worked at Marshals Department Store and as a steelworker. Returning home he worked for John Marro as a registered arborist for Marro Tree Experts. He then delivered oil for 20 years for Stiles Fuel, Whitefield. He retired to the EEE Farm in Lancaster where he enjoyed the wildlife and raising miniature horses.
Family members include his wife Cindy A. (Eager) Marro of Lancaster; a brother Louis N. "Pete" Marro and his wife Glen of Whitefield; two sisters Rosalie Miller of Whitefield, Janice Hall and her husband Peter of Whitefield; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles, and his three cats Crystal, Jade, Tawny.
There are no visiting hours. A graveside will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Park Street Cemetery, Whitefield. Rev. Donald Williams, pastor of the Mt. View Baptist Church, will officiate.
