Paul C. Moore, 89 of Dalton, NH passed away at home on April 21, 2025. Paul was born on November 4, 1935 in Lowell, MA. After growing up in the Plaistow area he served in the Airforce and went on to become a certified airline mechanic. He worked several years for Northeast Airlines where he enjoyed his travel advantages. He would often spend his days off flying across the country taking in the views from the plane’s cockpit.
Paul’s family ties brought him to the North Country where he owned and operated Moore’s General Store with his brother. Through working at the store he met his wife Christine and was happily married for 52 years. Together they raised three children and enjoyed a life in the small town of Dalton. Paul was Christine’s knight in shining armor and he will always be remembered as a loving husband and father.
After selling the store. Paul briefly worked for the Town of Dalton and spent his remaining work years self-employed, working with his father and caring for the family’s farm and property.
Paul loved to travel and would spend hours planning the next travel adventure for he and Christine. They were blessed to travel to many destinations including Paul’s dream trip to Australia where they spent 32 days cruising around the continent.
Surviving Paul is his wife Christine (Berry) Moore, a son, Eric Moore (Carol), a daughter, Angela Sharp (Justin), a son-in-law, Mark Pierce, seven grandchildren, Arthur Pierce, Zachary Pierce, Ryan Moore, Ellen Moore, Erica Moore, Damian Sharp and Dylan Sharp. In addition, he leaves behind 6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Predeceasing Paul in passing are his parents, Walter & Jean (Morey) Moore, a brother, David Moore, and a daughter, Vickie Pierce.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Dalton Fire & Rescue.
