LUNENBURG - Pauline E. Fox, 90, of West Main Street, died at her home Tuesday, November 29, 2016 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Fox was born in St. Johnsbury on March 4, 1926, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara (Leighton) Morse.
For many years she worked at the Gilman Library and was post-master relief at the Gilman Post Office. She had many interests including knitting, crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. Pauline also loved to attend country dances with her friend Charlie. She was an avid WWF and Red Sox fan and at 50 years old she acquired her GED. She loved family gatherings and cookouts and always remembered birthdays and anniversaries of her whole family.
Surviving family members include 11 children, Eileen Wilson (Jim), Susan Dodge (Fred), David Fox (Mabel), Candace Colbeth (Ted), Janice Benoit (Ken) Kathy Anderson (Don), Stephen Fox, Michael Fox (Judy), Peggy Earnshaw (Dennis), Lisa White (Lauren), Elizabeth Cliche (Tim); sisters Lolly and Luanne of Springfield, VT; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren (including 3 sets of 5 generations); and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband George E. Fox; infant children Brian and Cora; a daughter Shari Bradbury; a brother Robert Morse; a sister Lorene Morse; a grand-daughter Tammy Anderson and a great-grandson Benjamin Dodge.
At Pauline's request there are no public services or calling hours. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg will be held at convenience of the family.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers), Vermont State Office, 511 E. John Carpenter Frwy, #700, Irving, Texas 20036.
