LANCASTER – Phyllis Rose Blay, 67, died Friday, October 11, 2024, at her sister’s home in Lancaster NH.
Daughter of Roy Blay Jr. and Lula Mae (Bolduc) Blay of North Stratford NH, Phyllis was born October 12, 1956.
Surviving family include her sister, Susan MacKillop, along with husband Jim MacKillop; her niece Stephany Stinson and her nephews, James Mackillop Jr., Jeremy MacKillop, Robin Blay, Jason Blay; and her niece’s and nephew’s children, Karen, Emily, Eyne, Christopher, Alex, Samantha, Whitney, Kaitlin, Byron, Tristen, Beth, Molly, Trevor, Alex, and Madison. Predeceased is her brother Roy Blay Jr. (Dec 31, 2014), her sister Bonnie Robinson (Sept. 3, 2021) and her nieces, Kathleen Mackillop-Cassady (Jun. 2008) and Alyson Robinson (Nov. 4, 2018)
She graduated high school in North Stratford NH, attended college at the University of New Hampshire for one year, and then the University of Arizona. She worked for years in administrative assistance until 2008 when she moved back to New Hampshire to take up residence at her sister’s home. In Lancaster she was the canteen manager, and former bartender of VFW Lancaster 3041, where she was also a lifetime member.
At Phyllis’s request, she wished to be cremated and there are services.
