JEFFERSON - Phyllis J. Pandora, 85 died peacefully with family by her side on January 21, 2017, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Pandora was born in Northumberland on December 28, 1931 the daughter of Roveal J. and Dorothy M. (Ellingwood) Brockney.
For many of her younger years she worked in the old wood mill in North Stratford. Later she became a self employed pastry baker and operated bakeries in Lancaster and Whitefield. Her hobbies included bird watching, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family
Surviving family members include three sons, Edward and wife Theresa, Douglas and wife Yong, Daniel; one daughter Christina; a former daughter-in-law and very close friend Julie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Tower of East Burke, and Leona Brown of North Haverhill. She was predeceased by husband Rudolph; daughter Dianna; parents Dorothy and Roveal; and a sister Katherine.
There are no visiting hours. A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2017, at 1:00 PM at St. Pauls Church in Lancaster. Reverend Timothy Brooks, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
