LANCASTER - Phyllis Manville Rexford, 78, of Causeway Street, died suddenly at her home, Saturday December 4, 2021.
Phyllis was born in Danbury, Connecticut on July 28, 1943, she was the daughter of Clement and Constance M. (Russo) Pasquarella. She moved to Lancaster in 1978 where she and her first husband, Ronald Manville Sr., owned and operated Manville's Store. Ron predeceased her in 1991.
In 1994 she married Everett W. "Hooper" Rexford. Together the ran Hoopers Furniture on Summer Street for many years. In 1993 she and her daughter Bonnie were partners in the startup of Lancaster Floral Design. Phyllis' life was her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Since 2015 she has been assisting with the Food Pantry at the Christ United Methodist Church.
Surviving family members include her daughter Bonnie Reynolds and her husband Rob of Groveton; grandchildren include Steven Pecze &Tianna of Littleton, Robbie Reynolds of Groveton, Jena & Adam Pinette of Groveton, Ronnie Manville & Micki of Lancaster and Olivia Manville of Lancaster; great-granddaughters Lexi, Adriana, and Sydney; a special daughter in law Lisa Manville; and a brother Clement Pasquarella III of Manchester. Phyllis was also predeceased by her parents; second husband Everett; great-granddaughter Violet Rose Pinette; a sister Marie Candullo and husband Frank; and recently, her son Ronald Manville Jr., who died September 6th of this year.
Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster, NH on Sunday, December 12th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. A luncheon will follow at the Inn at Whitefield, Whitefield, NH. A graveside service will be held in the Spring in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
