LANCASTER - Randall S. "Keebler" Brewer, 27, gave his life selflessly to save another on Saturday April 19, 2008.
Randy was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, on March 19, 1981, the son of Randal Brewer and Della Rice.
For 7 years of his childhood he lived in Tennessee before moving to New England. For a short time he lived in Colebrook then moving to Island Pond, living there for several years and graduating from Brighton School. He then resided in Lyndonville for a time before moving to Guildhall and Lancaster where he has lived for the past 8 years. He has worked at McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken both in St. Johnsbury.
Randy was a free spirit who was very giving and big hearted.
Family members include two children Jordan Scott Brewer Tanner and Maria-Rain Gail Bonnett Brewer both of Vermont; his mother and step-father, Della and Mike Bishop of Lancaster; his father, Randal Brewer of Maine; a brother Kevin Brewer of Lancaster, three step brothers Brandon Bishop, Justin Bishop and his wife Kristina all of Lancaster and Jacob Bishop and his fiancée Denise McLain of Groveton, a step sister Tiffany Chase of Groveton; his maternal grandmother Dee Rice of Newark, VT, paternal grandmother Emily Brewer of Tennessee and paternal grandparents Robert and Cathy Bishop; special cousins, Tammy Knights of Wells River, VT, Michelle Farnham of South Ryegate, VT, Morgan and Jacob Deis of New York; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Thursday evening April 24, from 6-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. John Tremblay of St. Johnsbury, will officiate. Burial services will be held at a later date in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Newark, VT.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Bailey Funeral Home, 210 Main Street, Lancaster, NH 03584, to help defray funeral expenses.
