Richard H. Brooks

GROVETON- Richard H. Brooks, 47, of Rich Street passed away unexpectedly at his home, Wednesday July 13, 2022.
He was born May 5, 1975, in St Johnsbury, the son of Gary and Gail ((MacKay) Brooks. He attended local schools and was a graduate of St Johnsbury Academy.
Richard had worked with telephone and data communications equipment all his life and most recently was the owner of Goulet Communications in Groveton. He was a longtime member of the Groveton Fire Department and served as a CPR and First Aid educator.
Survivors include his wife Heidi and three children: Adam Brooks, Cody Brooks and Megan Caron, all of Groveton and his parents Gary and Gail Brooks, of Lakeland, FL, a sister Michelle Brault and her husband Eric of Bloomfield, two grandchildren, Payton and Parker and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Brian Brooks and a newborn son Alex.
A graveside service will be held at the Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster, August 6, 2022, at 2pm. There are no calling hours.
