Richard R. Reilly
August 13, 1939 — June 15, 2015
LANCASTER - Richard R. Reilly, born August 13,1939, passed away at Country Village on June 15, 2015 of complications from Parkinson's disease.
After high school he served his country for four years in the US Air Force. Dick was a building contractor and Part-time Police Officer for many years in the Hudson, NH area before marrying Alice Simonds and moving to the Lancaster area. He was a well known finish carpenter and furniture craftsman.
After his retirement he enjoyed delivering the Democrat to all of the surrounding Towns as far north as Pittsburg. He loved snowmobiling in the North Country.
He is survived by his wife Alice Simonds Reilly of Lancaster, son Mark of Litchfield, daughters Jennifer Marr and Heather Soucy both of Litchfield as well as 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Robin.
At his request there will be no visiting hours. At a later date a service with military honors will be held at the New Hampshire Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen.
