Richard C. Stoddard

LANCASTER-Richard (Dick) Stoddard, 87, went home to be with Jesus whom he loved and served for many years on December 28, 2021, after an 8 year struggle with Dementia. He was born in Lowell MA in 1934 to Clement and Ruby Stoddard. After high school he served his country in the US Navy (Seabees). Dick was in the brick masonry business for many years and then he was blessed to have worked for 10 years with Evangelist Clinton White in getting out the gospel message. After that he continued printing and publishing Clinton's White's uplifting faith messages while writing many of his own. He loved the game of basketball and played for many years with men he thought a lot of here in Lancaster. He was predeceased by his brother Clayton. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Roberta (Ellis) Stoddard and two sons and their spouses Michael and Lisa Stoddard of Pittsfield, MA, Peter and Laurie Stoddard of Manchester, NH and a foster daughter, Terri-Lynn Ackerman and her husband Jeff of East Bethany, NY, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
