LANCASTER - Robert J. Marcotte Jr., 60, of the McKee Inn, died Saturday evening November 3, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Mr. Marcotte was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 11, 1947, the son of Robert J. and Phylis (Repa) Marcotte.
Robert was retired from the United States Navy, a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Radioman aboard the riverboats of the Mekong Delta; where commendations for achievement and valor summarized his distinctive service. He was a devoted shipmate, concerned father and a good friend to those near him.
Family members include three daughters, two brothers and two sisters. He was predeceased by, his parents and a younger brother Chief Electronics Technician Ronald J. Marcotte, USN.
