Robert George York of Lisbon, NH, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026 at The Morrison Nursing Home.

Born on August 27, 1955 in Boston, MA. He was the son of the late Marion and James York.

Bob was a man who truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He had a deep love for hunting, fishing, fixing things, and “wheelin and dealin," always trying to find a great deal. Whether he was out in the woods, on the water, or working with his hands, he found joy in staying busy and being outdoors.

He will be remembered for his warm sense of humor and quick wit, always ready with a joke or a story that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. More than anything, Bob will be remembered for his easy going nature, his generosity, and the many memories he created with family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors that will not be forgotten.

Surviving family members include his children Rheanna (Willie) Stone of Twin Mountain, NH, and Ryan York of Wyandotte, MI; five grandchildren, Savannah, Will, Landon, Braden, and Zoe; siblings Rickie (Priscillia) York of Thatcher, AZ, Art (Karen) York of Milan, NH, Sue Riley of Manchester, NH, Connie Hartshorn of Bethlehem, NH, and Dale York of Bath, NH. He was predeceased by siblings Jim York and Avaline Boynton.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026 at the Twin Mountain Town Hall from 2-5pm.
