MANCHESTER- Roberta Louise Malanson, 61, died Sunday September 4, 2011, at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.
Roberta was born in Lancaster on September 19, 1949, a daughter of Robert and Hazel (Gonyer) Baker.
She was raised in Lancaster where she attended Lancaster Academy. For a time she worked at the Lancaster Diner. She later moved to Manchester where she has been a resident for over 25 years and was employed by Dunkin Donuts.
She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Lancaster.
Family members include her children Jeffrey Malanson of Stratford, Joanne Collins of St. Johnsbury, VT and Jennifer Malanson of Lancaster, her brothers Wayne "Butch" Baker of Lancaster, Craig Baker of Lancaster and Kevin Baker of Manchester, her sisters Norma Singer of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Lynn Baker of Manchester and Nancy Baker, her companion of 17 years Louis Levesque of Manchester, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 17 at 11:00 AM in the Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
