DALTON- Rodney Ray White, 56, of Dorsey Road, died at his home on Monday June 22nd in the presence of his family.

Spending time with his family, kayaking, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, snowmobiling and traveling.  He was an active member of the local snowmobile club, the 'sno kings', helping with cutting and grooming trails.  Each November friends and family looked forward to scallops collected from the bottom of the Piscataqua River while scuba diving in Portsmouth.

Rodney was a long time member of the Whitefield Advent Christian Church, where he served in many ways over the years.  He was also very involved with Mexican Medical Missions, and served on several mission trips as a team leader. Rodney had a zest for life, and people. He was a quiet behind the scenes presence always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by, his wife Cindy, his son Camden, daughter-in-law Kelly and a granddaughter that he was very proud of Lanee Rae, who was born on July 8th, 2008, his parents Ronald and Marjorie White, siblings Jerry White, Cheryl Merrill, Joel White, Lauren White and Adam White.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster NH.  A funeral service will take place Friday, at 1pm at the McIntyre School. Reverend Lou Going, pastor, at the Whitefield Advent Christian Church will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Park Street Cemetery, Whitefield.
