MARTIN'S LOCATION - Roger E. Grimard, 71, formerly of Dalton, died from a sudden illness, Saturday evening, August 4, 2012, at the Dolly Copp Campground in Martin's Location.

Mr. Grimard was born in Lancaster on May 12, 1941, the son of Marcell Roger and Enid Blanche (Bennett) Grimard.

Roger was raised in Whitefield and Dalton and for a time resided in New York State.  Retuning to Dalton he lived there for many years and owned and operated R&T Used Cars.  Later on he worked 15 years as a sales representative for the Currier dealerships in Lancaster and Gorham.

In Dalton he served on police department and was a volunteer member of the Dalton Fire Department.  He was a member of the Elks in Littleton.

Family members include his wife Cleona A. (Hartshorn) Grimard; a son Roger D. Grimard of Lancaster; a step-son Michael Grimard of Whitefield; three grandchildren, Hope, Jakub, Sierra; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Edward; a brother Peter Grimard of NJ; three sisters, Priscilla, Sandy, Rita all of New York; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
