EAST CONCORD - Roland W. Collins, 66, died suddenly at his home, Monday, September 25th, 2017, after a long history of illnesses.
Roland was born in East Concord on December 16, 1950, the son of Gordon M. and Della C. (Morrill) Collins. He has been a lifetime resident of East Concord and was a career employee for the Gilman Paper Company.
He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and spending time with his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews who he adored as they did him. He also served for a time in the US Army.
Surviving family members include his brother Roger Collins of East Concord and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Cynthia (Colstring) Collins; two brothers, Rodney Collins, George Blodgett; and a sister Myrtle McPherson.
A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Littleton on Tuesday, October 10th at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made, to help defer funeral expenses, to the Bailey Funeral Home, 210 Main Street, Lancaster, NH 03584.
