Ronald F. Lacasse

June 24, 1936 — October 30, 2020

STRATFORD - Ronald F. LaCasse, passed away on October 30, 2020, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was born on June 24, 1936, in North Stratford, to Clara Bryan LaCasse and Real O LaCasse.

Ronald attended North Stratford schools. He worked at the Stratford Plywood mill from a young age. After marrying the love of his life, Sally Bordeau, they resided in Groveton where he worked at Groveton Paper Mill. After retiring he held different part-time jobs, but the one he liked best was as a ride attendant at Santa's Village. He was a parishioner of the St Francis Xavier Church in Groveton, and an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus.

Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, golfing, snowmobiling, camping, cruises, the beach, dancing, and walking. He especially loved every moment spent with his grandchildren who lovingly, called him Bumpie.

He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Sally; brother Reginald LaCasse and sister Muriel Bordeau.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah and his "Son"-in-law Dana Locke of Stratford, his daughter Lynn LaCasse of Concord, NH; grandchildren Alicia Locke Brooks and husband Gary, Allison Guy Zanis, Dustin Ronald Locke and Angela, Marisa Guy and Dwight, Denis Guy, II; great grandchildren Natalie and Brielle Brooks, Ava-Lynn Zanis and Freya Guy, and Aria Ray. Sisters-in -law Maureen LaCasse of Connecticut, Marilyn Sorrenty of Concord, Beverly Green of Concord, Brenda Bryant of Littleton, and Karen Newton of Sanbornton. Brothers-in-law Buddy and John Bordeau. Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many others that loved him and called him Bumpie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 7th at 12:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Reverend Daniel Deveau, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Northumberland Cemetery.

The family wishes everyone to be safe and has requested attendees to wear masks and respect social distancing.
