LANCASTER- Ronald E. Stinson, 68, of Water Street, died Thursday afternoon September 20, 2007, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.
Mr. Stinson was born in Littleton on February 9, 1939, a son of Leslie and Ravona (Nurse) Stinson.
Ronald served in the U.S. Navy; he was a Naval Sea Bee, who served his country with pride. He worked as a machinist for Mardon Industries, Lyndon, for several years. After retirement he was a volunteer driver for North Country Care, assisting people to appointments and with his kind-hearted devotion he would sit and wait for them.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #68, Littleton.
Family members include his wife, Connie (Thibodeau) Stinson of Lancaster, a son Mark Beynon of Lunenburg, VT and a granddaughter Kelsie B. Ray of Bethlehem, a brother Raymond Stinson of Washington State.
There are no visiting hours. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, September 29, at 11:00 AM in the Glenwood Cemetery, Littleton.
