Rosalie G. Mcgraw

Lancaster, NH- Rosalie G. McGraw, 96, a lifelong resident of Lancaster passed away on Thursday May 31, 2012 in the comfort of her home where she lived all her life. She was born in Lancaster on December 23, 1915 a daughter of the late James E. and Mary (Boucher) McGraw.

Rosalie graduated from Lancaster Academy in 1933 and the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York. She taught Latin, French and English for 19 years at Lancaster High School. Rosalie was the proprietor of the Town and Country Shop, in Lancaster from 1960 to 1985. During that time she was also a partner with her sister in an antique shop called "The Shop in the Barn' which was located at their family home on Prospect Street. They operated the shop during the summer months from 1949 to 1990. Rosalie was a communicant at All Saints Catholic Church.

Rosalie had no children, and is survived by many distant cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Marguerite Monahan.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday June 4 at 10 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Lancaster with the Reverend John MacKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster.
