Rosemary Ann Martin

April 10, 1957 — May 21, 2014

Rosemary Ann Martin of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.  Rosemary was born on April 10, 1957, in Lancaster, New Hampshire, where she attended Lancaster Elementary School. Her early years were spent at Roclawn Farm on Lost Nation Road, and when her family relocated to Mount Dora, Florida, in 1966, Rosemary attended Roseborough Elementary and Mount Dora High School, where she was inducted into the National Honor Society.  Graduating Cum Laude in June of 1975, Rosemary attended classes at Berry College in Rome, Georgia; the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, and Lake-Sumter Community College in Leesburg, Florida.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Currier Martin, and is survived by her father, Winston Page Martin, and sister Beth (Martin) Cochran, both of Tucson; brother George Winston Martin of Hendersonville, North Carolina; nieces Shannon Cochran, Paige (Cochran) DeKoster, Alicia Martin, Amanda Martin; and great-niece Ava DeKoster.

Rosemary's career spanned many years in the airline industry, first in Atlanta, Georgia, and then in Tucson.  She was employed by American Airlines as a reservationist until the date of her passing.

Gifted with a glowing smile, Rosemary had a great love of cooking, as well as music and crafts.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Adair Funeral Home of Tucson, and Bailey Funeral Home of Lancaster.  A memorial is planned for a later date, at which time Rosemary will be laid to rest in the Martin family plot at Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster.
