LANCASTER, NH- Ruth A. Lewin, 54, of Williams Street, died Sunday morning, February 4, 2007, at Weeks Medical Center, Lancaster.
Mrs. Lewin was born in Millinocket, Maine, on February 26, 1952, the daughter of Renee` and Clotus E. (Levasseur) Gagnon.
Ruth was a people person, dedicating her time caring for the elderly, she passionately loved, animals, enjoyed ceramics, painting, and going to yard sales. She was also very proud of her Native American Heritage.
Family members include her husband Nathan E. Lewin Sr. of Lancaster, a daughter Leah Poulin of Lewiston, ME, two grandchildren, Alexis and Michael, two brothers, Reed Gagnon and James Cyr both of Bangor, a sister Jan Styles of Lancaster, seven stepchildren, Nathan Jr., Eric, Kent, Brenda, Julie, Clint and Lynn, 16 step grandchildren. She was predeceased by, a son Chester Barnes Jr. in 1986, an infant daughter Lisa Marie Barnes, two brothers; Alfay Cyr and Wayne Gagnon.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Saturday afternoon, February 10, from 2-4 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Burial will be held in the spring at Grindstone Cemetery, Medway, ME.
