Sandra Dawson

LANCASTER - With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Sandra "Nanny" Dawson, who left us on October 9, 2023. Nanny, as she was better known, was born on February 27, 1939, and her brief time spent with us was filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories. Her radiant smile and nurturing nature will forever be etched in our hearts. She now rests in peace, having lived a life full of tenderness.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband William Dawson. She leaves behind her son, Dean Dawson, her son James Hess, her daughter, Heather Brownell and her husband Lee Brownell, and son, Leonard Dawson, who will all carry on their mother's legacy of love and dedication. As well as her grandchildren Justin, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Steven, Jarret, and Brodie, Ian and Christian, and Courtney, Cody, and Amber. She also had 16 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire them and all those who knew her.

Nanny's life was a testament to the depth of her love for those around her. Even in her passing, her impact remains and will always be a beacon of dedication, love, and warmth.

There will be a wake October 29th from 4PM to 6PM at Bailey's Funeral Home in Lancaster, NH, and a celebration of life November 24th from 1PM to 5PM at the Dalton Town Hall.
