WHITEFIELD - Sandra L. Miller, 58, died Saturday evening, July 2, 2016, at the Country Village Genesis Eldercare Center after a long period of ill health.
Mrs. Miller was born in Lancaster on September 15, 1957 the daughter of Edward R. and Dorothy Frechette. She has resided in Whitefield her entire life and was a graduate of White Mountain Regional High School.
Through the years she has worked in housekeeping at the Waumbeck Hotel in Jefferson and at the Northlander Motel in Twin Mountain. Sandy's favorite pastimes were knitting and crocheting. She loved the outdoors and nature and enjoyed camping and collecting owls.
She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Whitefield and the New Hampshire TOPS.
Surviving family members include her husband Walter Miller of Whitefield and three sisters, Joyce Frechette of Dover, Janice Sherwood of Whitefield and Gloria Slagel of Laconia. Her parents predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon, August 17, at 4:00 PM at the Whitefield United Methodist Church.
