GROVETON - Seth Joseph Savage, 11, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Seth was born in Lancaster, NH, on April 30, 2006, the son of Randall Savage and Tiesha (Hartlen) Fontaine. He was a student at Groveton Elementary School where he excelled in basketball and also played baseball. Seth enjoyed swimming, four wheelers and driving anything with a motor. He also liked taking things apart to see how they worked and spending time at the farm.
Surviving family members include his mother and step-father, Tiesha & TJ Fontaine of Groveton; his father Randall Savage and Jamie of Groveton; his sister Haley Savage; two brothers, Bailey Fontaine and Preston Savage; his maternal grandparents, Elaina and Brien Smith of Chester, VT, Beth Hartlen of Lisbon, John Hartlen of Barton, VT; his paternal grandparents Tim Savage of Groveton, Nancy Reynolds of Groveton; grandparents Brenda and Trapper Fontaine of Lancaster, Bruce and Robin Savage of Lancaster; other family include his great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Friday morning, August 4th, at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Groveton. Reverend Steve MacLeod, pastor of the Milan United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery.
