Shawn Maillet SR, 54, of Lunenburg VT passed away Monday June 17, 2019. He was born on April 7, 1965 to Frank and Majel (Finley)Maillet.
Shawn had an exceptional ability to rebuild, repair and diagnose any motorized piece he set his mind to. His hobbies included spending time outside with his equipment, enjoying his various "toys" and flying aircraft pieces that he built completely.
He is predeceased by his father Frank Maillet and survived by his mother Majel ( Finley) Wood of Lunenburg VT, his aunt and uncle Jim and Mary (Finley) Gochie of Concord VT: his uncle Charles Finley of Londonderry NH, his three children: Brittany (Maillet) Fournier and her husband Marcel Fournier of Lyndonville VT, Shawn Maillet JR of Lunenburg VT and Anthony Maillet of Lunenburg VT, his grandchildren Adailia Fournier and Jaxon Fournier, and several aunts and uncles, and cousins
A private funeral service will be held for Shawn at Baileys Funeral Home of Lancaster NH.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to honor Shawn's love for animals by inviting family and friends to make donations to Riverside Rescue 236 Riverside Ave, Gilman VT 05906.
