DALTON - Shirley I. Rodger, 75, formerly of Hurlburt Road, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 1st, 2021 at Country Village Genesis Healthcare Center in Lancaster.
Shirley was born in Pennsylvania on February 14th, 1945 the daughter of William and Harriet Rogers. She came from a long line of family and was a cancer survivor. Shirley was a hard worker and very family oriented. She will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Reginal Rodger; her daughter and son-in-law Ginger Miller and Richard Miller of Littleton; grandchildren Christopher Rodger and his wife and children from Hooksett, NH, Kasei Rodger from Berlin; great-grandchildren Jaiden Rodger and Mikayla Dalphonse of Berlin, Haydyn Bigelow-Flynn of Whitefield; and many nieces and nephews.
Since the original publishing of this obituary, Reginal passed on March 17, 2021. A graveside service for both Reginald & Shirley will be held at Cushman Cemetery in Dalton on June 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Lou Going of Lancaster will officiate.
