Stuart Hotchkiss

Stuart W. Hotchkiss, 69, of Carroll, NH passed away on January 15th peacefully with his loving family by his side. Stuart was born in CT in 1955 to Stuart T and June Hotchkiss. He grew up in Newtown and Madison, CT and graduated from Tabor Academy in Marion, MA. He was an entrepreneur throughout his life and took great pride in owning his own businesses in excavation, tree work, fine wood working, and construction. He loved the outdoors and life in the New Hampshire mountains going on adventures with his wife, and dog, Gabby. One of his proudest accomplishments was building his own home. Stuart was predeceased in death by his parents, Stuart T. and June Hotchkiss, and is survived by his loving wife Brenda Hotchkiss of Carroll, NH; his daughter Jessica Hotchkiss Ruotolo (Joseph) of Newtown, CT; stepson Keith Cunningham (Cassandra) of Hopkinton, NH; stepdaughter Alicia Cunningham (Tony) of Lancaster, NH; sisters Mary Hotchkiss, Jane Hotchkiss, Susan Connell (Robert), and Jennifer Hotchkiss; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 23 at Northumberland Cemetery, 328 Lancaster Road. Donations in memory of Stu can be made to American Heart Association and Ducks Unlimited.
