Susan M. Flynn, 74, of Lancaster, New Hampshire passed away on Thursday, July 31st, 2024. Sue was born in Lancaster on March 18th, 1950 to Thomas & Lillian (McLain) Flynn. She would go on to graduate from White Mountain Regional High School. In her younger years she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her parents and was an active 4-H leader with the Bits and Bridles 4-H group. She would pass down her love of horses to her nieces and great niece. Sue had a passion for flower and vegetable gardening, carrying on her mother’s passion for canning vegetables and sharing them with loved ones. She also enjoyed NASCAR, The Green Bay Packers and making bets with her nephew in law, Alan; talking smack whenever they beat the Giants. She will be remembered most for her love of family, and how she always had wonderful memories and stories to share.
Sue was an active member of the horse community, a member of APHA and American Quarter Horse. She worked for Hitchner Manufacturing until she was no longer able to. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Predeceasing Sue in passing are her parents and sister, Donna Flynn. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Powell of Lancaster and nieces Tina Powell of Colorado & Tammie Gawronski (Alan) of Colorado. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Abigal, Elizabeth (Aaron), Alexa (Cayden), Peyton and Mason (Hailey).
A Graveside Service will take place at Summer Street Cemetery on Monday, August 5th, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Family Memorial Fund, C/O Bailey Funeral Home.
