Thomas B. Barrows Jr.

GUILDHALL - Thomas B. Barrows Jr., 70, died peacefully in his sleep, Monday morning December 16th, 2019, at his residence in Guildhall.
Tom was born in North Conway on August 4, 1949 the son of Thomas B. Barrows Sr. and Geraldine Mildred (Rines) Barrows. He was raised in Berlin and Lancaster and served with the US Army in the Vietnam War.
Tom enjoyed fishing and went on a vacation to Alaska where he took up permanent residence for 37 years. During those years he was a dedicated to his career as a heavy equipment operator. He was also an amazing uncle and wonderful friend.
Surviving family members include his three nieces and one nephew, Nikki Doolan (Mike) of Groveton, Kristie Desautels (Jerry) of Groveton; Mark Deschenes (Jessica) of Brentwood, NH, Kellie Sebestyen (Duncan MacIver) of Monroe; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Geraldine; a sister Timonee Tippett; and a nephew Scott Beaudet.
All are invited to join the family at Uncle Tommy's Celebration of Life that will be held Saturday, January 4th, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the American Legion in Groveton. Military honors will be conducted at 3:00 PM.
